2018 Music Fest

Tropical Disease

Saturday, June 16th at 5:30 PM

Tropical Disease is a 5 piece band from the Philadelphia area. Featuring 2 uniquely gifted electric guitarists, a rhythm section that fires off on all cylinders and a singer with the vocal talent to stand in the center of the an electrified blues storm.

But what about that name? Take 5 musicians with an admiration for blues, rock and the Rolling Stones and incubate for 4 years. The result is the band Tropical Disease. The name, an homage to the bootleg-demo tapes for what would later become The Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street album.

Tropical Disease brings a high energy set that draws on songs from Muddy Waters and Chuck Berry to The Rolling Stones, the Allman Brothers and other classic rock and blues favorites

Tropical Disease plays throughout the Philadelphia area and has a fondness for musical festivals to support local business and main street initiatives.
